Minot eased into the holiday season Friday night with the kind of small-town warmth that cuts through even a sub-20-degree chill. Families gathered downtown for the annual tree lighting, a tradition that’s become a community anchor as December approaches. The night brought hayrides, music, and a chance to step inside local shops while neighbors crossed paths and caught up.
