Minot Fire Department Rescues Occupant from Mobile Home Fire

The Minot Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire at 500 30th Ave. NW early this morning at approximately 5 a.m.

While en route, Minot Central Dispatch informed responding crews that an occupant was still inside the home and unable to exit due to fire conditions.

Upon arrival, Engine 3 initiated search and rescue operations. Firefighters successfully located and removed the victim from the building, providing medical treatment alongside Trinity First Response Ground. The individual was treated for smoke inhalation and transported to Trinity Hospital.

The fire was contained to a single bedroom within the mobile home. The response included three engine companies, two truck companies, and one command unit.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
