Minot Police Investigate Train-Pedestrian Incident Injuring 21-Year-Old Man

Minot police are investigating a train-pedestrian incident that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to the Minot Police Department, officers responded to a report at approximately 1:43 a.m. on May 4, after a pedestrian was struck by a train in the 400 block of 1st Avenue SW.

Upon arrival, officers and medical personnel found a 21-year-old male who was unresponsive and suffering from life-threatening injuries. First responders provided lifesaving aid, and the individual was transported to Trinity Hospital for emergency trauma care.

As of Sunday evening, the man remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

The incident is under investigation by the Minot Police Department in collaboration with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway.
