Minot Police moving closer to station remodel
Minot is taking its next step toward updating a key piece of city infrastructure: the police station. This week, the city council authorized the search for an architect and engineering firm, with a process designed to keep budget and scope in check through regular check-ins. City Engineer Lance Meyer said the goal is a collaborative approach that balances council priorities with the police department’s needs. Proposals are now being solicited, and funding for the project is already set aside for next year. Kyona Rivera with KMOT has the full story.
