Minot Public Schools considering sale of unused lands, relocating Souris River Campus
Minot Public Schools is looking to lighten its load—and maybe spark new opportunities in the process. With several properties sitting idle, including the shuttered Bell and Jefferson Elementary schools and a 27-acre parcel near Erik Ramstad Middle School, the district is preparing to put unused land up for sale. Superintendent Scott Faul says the goal is to make better use of resources while reimagining others, like relocating the Souris River Campus to the former McKinley Elementary. Discussions on the bidding process are expected to begin later this summer. Kyona Rivera with KMOT has the full story.
