Minot’s weekend of all weekends! Get out and enjoy it!

Starting Thursday, there’s more to do in Minot than you have time to get to. Here’s the rundown in no particular order:

  • First Thursday — It’s a Creative Night Out with downtown businesses partnering with local artists that add to Minot’s atmosphere. The highlight — the performance of the Minot City Band will play on the corner of Main St & 1st Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Learn more here.
  • Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks will be celebrating their grand opening Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This 21+ event will feature live music from local bands Marigold, Soul Shine, and Wild Hands. Along with lots of local beer, street tacos will be the featured food. Thursday and Friday start at 4:00, Saturday you’ll be able to grab a patio beer at 11:00 am. Learn more here.
  • 75th Anniversary D-Day Commemoration on Thursday will start with the museum opening at 10:00 am. Commemoration events begin at 5:00. Learn more here.
  • The Sound of Independence on Thursday from 7:00 — 11:00 in front of Starving Rooster will feature live music and great food! Learn more here.

These are just a few of the highlights — if there’s more, don’t hesitate to use the comments below to share the news.

And now it’s on you, lots of hard work goes into putting these events together — if you want to see more of these tough-choice weekends, it’s your responsibility to get and support them!

Matt darling

Alright minot. That was always the coolest building that was empty forever. Was a gas station. I think my older neighbor Vidal Gordon designed it. Gotta come see this.
