The North Dakota Military Gallery, expected to open in 2027, will display more of the state’s 10,000-item military collection—most of which currently sits in storage. The project, backed by both public and private funds, aims to highlight stories from Medal of Honor recipients, Native American warriors, and everyday service members. Donations of uniforms, personal items, and oral histories are actively being sought to help fill the gaps.
