Some MAFB students will need alternate transportation due to government shutdown
A government shutdown is creating new challenges for families on Minot Air Force Base. Yellowfin, the company responsible for student transportation, has paused most of its winter busing due to a lapse in federal funding. Only routes already covered — including high school students, those attending Edison Elementary, and children with special needs — will continue. With winter approaching and buses sidelined, many parents are now scrambling to find their own way to get students to class. Joe Skurzewski with KFYR has the full story.
