Minot is getting a soundtrack—and it’s written from the heart. A group of Minot State grads, calling themselves The Fab Five, have penned an anthem that celebrates open skies, open hearts, and the spirit of community that keeps people rooted here. Titled Why Not? Open Prairies, Open Arms, Open Hearts the song reflects their personal ties to the city and a shared hope that newcomers and lifers alike feel welcome. It’s now in the hands of a Minot State composer to bring it to life. Kyona Rivera with KMOT has the full story.
