Jim Kleinsasser’s football journey came full circle Tuesday night as the former UND tight end was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. The Carrington native became only the second UND player ever to receive the honor, joining a class that includes Michael Vick, Michael Strahan, Urban Meyer, and Nick Saban. Kleinsasser credited his UND coaches and teammates for “pushing his sled,” a nod to the foundation that carried him from standout All-American to 13 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. For UND, it’s a milestone worth savoring. om Miller with Grand Forks Herald has the full story.
