Auer Files New Federal Lawsuit vs. City

Minot’s former City Attorney Colleen Auer has filed a new Federal lawsuit against the City of Minot. Auer held the position briefly last spring before being fired by interim city manager Cindy Hemphill. A previous lawsuit by Auer was dismissed in District Court.

Minot’s Downtown Infrastructure Project Bids Opened

Bids for Minot’s downtown infrastructure work were opened. The low bid was provided by Strata Corporation and at $14.4 million it was $3.4 million more than the estimated $11 million. The work to modernize and update all downtown utilities, streets, and sewers will begin this summer.
