What started as an idea for a small junior golf tour in Bismarck has grown into a statewide force for the game. The Dakota Junior Golf Association now reaches nearly every course in North Dakota, with membership more than tripling since 2020 and over 17,000 participants engaged in the past year alone. Through mentorship programs, rural outreach, affordable equipment, and beginner-friendly tournaments, DJGA is building skills and opportunities for young golfers — and reshaping the state’s competitive golf landscape in the process.
