How a former corn flakes factory became the world’s most interesting new hotel
What once stored mountains of corn and wheat now welcomes travelers with minimalist rooms and sweeping river views. In Bremen, Germany, the hulking silos of a former Kellogg’s cereal factory have been reborn as the John & Will Silo Hotel. Architects carved through six inches of concrete to create 117 circular rooms while preserving the raw industrial character of the landmark structure.
