Why We Chose It

Economic development is always under debate… we’ve most recently passed through the “job creation” era, and were — possibly — heading into “placemaking” era. That is unless we’re actually heading into the “you’ll get nothing, and like it” era. Perhaps most interesting of all, we seem to have forgotten what was once a well understood approach — community betterment. It was so well known, even politicians from our highest offices understood and supported it 🙂
