A 49-year-old Canadian has died while in ICE custody in Florida
A Canadian man held by U.S. immigration authorities has died in custody, raising fresh questions about conditions in federal detention centers. Johnny Noviello, 49, was found unresponsive on June 23 at a Miami facility while awaiting deportation. Efforts to revive him failed, and the cause of death remains under investigation.
