Historic restaurant and bar in Killdeer destroyed in Friday fire
A longtime fixture in Killdeer is gone. The Pipe Bar and Grill, a beloved local watering hole with roots stretching back to the 1950s, was destroyed in a fire Friday evening. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and a fast response from emergency crews prevented further damage. While investigators work to determine the cause, the community has already begun showing its spirit—American Legion members celebrating their 105th anniversary delivered food to firefighters still battling the blaze.
