Minnesota Man Arrested After Crash Involving Motorcycle in Minot

A Minnesota man was arrested following a serious crash involving a pickup and a motorcycle in Minot on the evening of Friday, June 27.
According to the Minot Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Avenue and North Broadway. Authorities say Travis V. Brown, 32, made a sudden lane change while driving southbound, striking a motorcycle. The impact caused the motorcyclist to fall and be run over by the truck’s rear tire. Brown then fled the scene at a high rate of speed.
A witness followed the vehicle and provided updates to police, who were able to locate and stop Brown. He was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Serious Injury, a Class C Felony, and transported to the Ward County Jail.
The motorcyclist was taken to Trinity ER with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is reported to be in stable condition.
