Minot’s Bob Gillen to be inducted in North Dakota Hockey Hall of Fame

Hockey has a special place in the hearts of North Dakotans, and this year, one of Minot’s own is being recognized for his contributions to the sport by the ND High School Hockey Hall of Fame. Bob Gillen, the manager of Minot’s MAYSA Arena has also been the state’s highs school statistician and administrator of the ND High School Hockey website for decades. Also being inducted is Matt Malm, a Grand Forks native who led Red River to multiple state championships. The Grand Forks Herald has the full story.
