Enrollment up nearly 4% at North Dakota public colleges, universities
Enrollment across North Dakota’s public colleges and universities is climbing again, reaching its highest level in more than a decade. The University of North Dakota set a record with nearly 16,000 students, while North Dakota State University held steady at just under 12,000, buoyed by growth in first-year and international students. Community colleges also saw strong gains, with Williston State leading the way at 11% growth. Only Dickinson State reported a decline.
